• Here are a few Handy Tips which I have found useful over the years:
• Bring up little pinics on trays
• Make a "special bed" on the sofa and set up a "private screening" of a favourite DVD
• Allow your child to have a long bubble bath in your bubbles
• Put on a story tape – something like George Eliot’s Middlemarch - instant zzzzz
• Talk about something you can do together when he/she is up on her feet again- give them something to look forward to.
